Fluge Global Adventures Teams with NayKid Racing for Return to SPEED World ChallengePUYALLUP, Wash., April 5, 2007 NayKid Racing announced today that Fluge Global Adventures ( www.FlugeAdventures.com ) will join the team for their return to the SPEED World Challenge GT at Long Beach, Calif. Both the No. 2 Fluge Global Adventures/Mintex Brakes/Red Line Oil Dodge Viper Comp Coupe of Cindi Lux Aloha, Ore. and the No. 3 Fluge Global Adventures/Corsa Performance/Forgeline Dodge Viper Comp Coupe of Scotty B. White (Lake Tapps, Wash.) will carry the Fluge compass logo proudly on their cars at the April 15th Grand Prix of Long Beach. The event is the first time since 2004 that a NayKid Racing entry has campaigned in the production-based GT class of the SPEED World Challenge and Fluge Global Adventures' first foray into professional motorsports. Fluge Global Adventures offers the public, through its web site and blog, a rare insight into the exploits of Portland businessman and modern-day adventurer Nick Fluge. Over the course of the year, Fluge will go on a series of events and adventures that can be followed on the internet. Included in his 2007 quests are: a 19,000 foot summit run at Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, a cross country road race in The Cannon Ball Run 2007, a very serious hike to Base Camp at Mt. Everest in Nepal, a full scale onslaught on the World Series of Poker and High Octane Adventures in the SCCA behind the wheel of full-on Super cars. Other adventures are also being put together. The combination of NayKid Racing and Fluge Global Adventures is a natural fit. Fluge's desire to support a professional team in a world class event mixed perfectly with NayKid Racing's past performances and move into the SPEED World Challenge for 2007. The pairing is also good for the Northwest racing community as it puts together one of its biggest proponents with one of its top teams. Not only is this year an adventure for NayKid Racing but it will be an extreme adventure at Long Beach. Having the backing from a local company proves how much the community rallies behind Lux and White in their efforts to enter World Challenge. Similarly, the Long Beach Grand Prix gives Fluge Global Adventures the ideal platform to promote the adventurer's lifestyle through www.FlugeAdventures.com . Fans of both Fluge and NayKid Racing will be able to follow and discuss the team's journey to its return to SCCA Pro Racing on the site as well through the Fluge Global Adventures blog page. The blog welcomes people from around the world to talk about their own adventures, comment on the adventures of Nick Fluge or discuss exciting new adventures they are considering. The Fluge Global Adventures/NayKid Racing Dodge Vipers effort at Long Beach can be seen on SPEED Channel, Saturday, April 21 at 3 PM (ET).Quotes:Nick Fluge, Owner, Fluge Global Adventures: "I am excited to be partnering with the NayKid Racing team of Cindi Lux and Scotty B. White, who many consider two of the outstanding sports car racers in the country. Being a part of the team's comeback to World Challenge and doing it at Long Beach is great. This is a big adventure for us and we hope everyone will share in this adventure at FlugeAdventures.com.” Cindi Lux: “If Nick Fluge wants adventures, then he certainly picked the right arena and team in Motorsports! This is one of the more fun and out-of-the-box marketing partners I have been partnered with. Heck, I might have to trade him some seat time behind the wheel of the Viper for an opportunity to join him at Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania! This guy certainly knows how to enjoy life and its super cool to be part of his adventure team. The Speed World Challenge Series fits right into his alley and I think people will really enjoy reading all about it at FlugeAdventures.com.”Scotty B. White: “It's funny, until I started learning about Nick I thought I had the best, most exciting life. But mine looks like that of a librarian compared to the adventures you find on FlugeAdventures.com! I just hope we can provide some excitement worthy of sharing the site with Nick's other adventures. Heck, what am I talking about? This is NayKid Racing and you just KNOW some crazy stuff is going to happen with this team of hooligans on track!”To follow all the Fluge Global Adventures, visit www.FlugeAdventures.com For more on NayKid Racing please see www.NayKidRacing.comInformation on Cindi Lux is at www.CindiLux.comSPEED World Challenge can be found at www.World-Challenge.com
