Slacker Inc. Brings New Look to 2013 Wayne Taylor Racing Daytona Prototype Effort

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 26, 2013 – In the last several years, Slacker Incorporated * has developed into one of motorsports’ leading lifestyle brand service-providers. Today, the Akron, Ohio-based company took its biggest leap thus far into the consciousness of the racing world. Beginning with the 51st Running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, Slacker, Inc. ( *www.SlackerInc.com ) will support the re-branding effort of Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) in the Daytona Prototype (DP) class of the GRAND-AM Rolex Series for 2013. Slacker, Inc. will outfit the drivers, crew team members, corporate partners and fans with * Wayne Taylor Racing* apparel. In addition, the firm founded by Jason Myers will provide video along with custom crew gear and apparel support to the elite sports car racing team.

With the partnership, WTR will benefit from Slacker’s fresh but experienced approached to motorsports branding accessories as well as team gear and apparel.

As part of the arrangement, Slacker, Inc. will also take an increased visual role with the team as a marketing partner in 2013. The stylized Slacker “S Rock” will appear on the team’s transporter throughout the season and will also have a presence on the No. 10 Velocity Worldwide Corvette Dallara DP of Wayne Taylor Racing at its home race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio on June 15.

WTR is owned by legendary sports car racer Wayne Taylor, along with Max Angelelli who too has quite a history in sports car racing. Taylor is a three-time sports car racing champion with victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 At Daytona (twice), the 12 Hours of Sebring and the inaugural Petit Le Mans. Angelelli, a sports car champion in his own right, is also driving the WTR #10 Daytona Prototype and is one of the winningest drivers in the series. Taylor and Angelelli founded the Indianapolis-based team in 2006.
